Let Love Grow in Our Heart

We can’t treat love as something disposable, we use and then throw away, because they don’t serve

“If someone were to say: love God, but hates his brother, he is a liar. Because he who does not love his brother, whom you see, is incapable of loving God, who does not see “ (1Jo 4.20).

Beloved brethren, these days, the love of God has led our thoughts, feelings and our heart. There is no more wonderful experience for the human heart than be consumed by the mercy of the father, for it manifests itself in our life so very loving.

God’s love constrains us, healing, relieves and restores us. When are touched by divine love, we were in love of God. And stay in love of the Lord is to let love for him and respond to that love. God loves us and we love him.

You know, the word “love” was very common sense, uncouth. Any and all human experience, often negative experiences, misguided, selfish and proud we call love. But love is something so sublime and genuine, it is the most characteristic adjective for God, it is the noun that best qualifies and denotes God.

Who wants to remain in God needs love, above all, the presence of God among us, that we are practical people of flesh and blood. We can say so in our hearts: “I love God!”, but ignore, we disqualify ourselves, we just spend time concerned over who’s on our side, who is our neighbor, our brother. This is something else, but it’s not the experience of the love of God. In the heart, we love him, but, in practice, the love is how we treat the brother who’s on our side.

No one can see God. He exists, is in the midst of us, but we can only love him specifically when we  love those who are  on our side.

Love is not just words, but something concrete; love is a gesture, attitude and decisions. When we decided to love God, we need to decide to love our brother every day. We can’t rule out anyone, we cannot treat love as something disposable, that we use and then we throw away, because they don’t serve it.

We can’t play anyone out of our heart. We need to show that we love the Lord not with words, but in practice. And the practice of the love of God happens when we love!

It is true that there are people who are hardest to love, want to love well, but . . .when we let ourselves be taken for that love of God in our life, we’ve seized back the hate and let love grow in us.

God bless you!
