When we unite to Christ, we unite ourselves to the Father

Who is United to Christ joins the Father and prepares the heart for living heaven

The meditated Word is in St. John -11 14.1:
“Don’t disturb your heart! Believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s House there are many mansions. It wasn’t like that, I would have said. I’m going to prepare a place for you. And after I’m gone, and prepared a place for you, I will come back and take you with me, so that, wherever I am, are you too. And where I go, you know the way. ” Thomas said: “Sir, we don’t know where you’re going. How can we know the way? “. Jesus answered: “I am the way, the truth and the life.Nobody goes to the Father but by me. If you met me, you shall know my father also. Since we already know and have seen “. Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, that enough.” Jesus answered: “Philip, for so long I am with you, and you don’t know me? Who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, ‘ show us the Father ‘? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, do not say for myself; is the father, staying in me, realizes his works. Believe me: I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Believe me, at least, because of these works.

Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’ s house there are many mansions. If not, I would have told you: because I go to prepare a place for you. And if I shall go, and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will take you to myself; that where I am, you also may be. And where I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said to him: Lord, we know not where you go; how can we know the way?

Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by me. If you had known me, you would without doubt have known my Father also: and from henceforth you shall know him, and you have seen him. Philip said to him: Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. Jesus said to him: Have I been so long a time with you; and have you not known me? Philip, he that sees me sees the Father also. How do you say you, show us the Father? Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. But the Father who abides in me, he does the works.

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? Otherwise believe for the very works’ sake. Amen, amen I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do. [13] Because I go to the Father: and whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, that will I do: that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If you shall ask me any thing in my name, that I will do. If you love me, keep my commandments.

By instituting the sacrament of the Eucharist, Christ leaves his disciples the commandment of love and commands: “do not let your heart be troubled! Believe in God and believe in me. ” Jesus asks us to have faith in him and the Father.

The Lord won for us a place

The Son of God came into the world as our Savior, to give us eternal life. For the risen Christ, our humanity has been glorified in him. Where you are, we are, too. Nothing and no one can pluck us from the hands of the Father.

The Holy Spirit gives us the grace to live in Christ. You are the way, the truth and the life. He, by his death and resurrection, has earned us a place, has given us eternal life, however, it is up to us to accept the responsibility to take possession of this grace.

When we take possession of the eternal home, we have Jesus as the Way, Truth and Life. Let’s walk following in His footsteps of mercy, love, justice and forgiveness.

Let us ask the Lord to increase our faith and that we may believe truly in the risen Christ. No one is alone, so don’t let your heart be disturbed,  much less let the fear, anguish, anxiety or nervousness to take hold inside us.

That faith we profess?

What is the faith that we must profess? The faith of the Church. Faith that has been transmitted by the Apostles of Christ; faith that transforms lives and unites us to God.

When the disciples of Christ announced the kerygma, namely, the love of God revealed through Jesus, those who listened, had their lives transformed. The main content of the faith of the Church is Christ dead and risen, so they were transformed.

The faith that guarantees us the salvation is the faith of the Church is one, Holy, and Apostolic.Christ is the Holy one par excellence. Attached to Jesus, we are United to the Father in heaven; and attached to Him, we have the strength to face the obstacles of our walk.

By the mystery of his glorious Resurrection, let us have faith in God. Once we are touched by His mercy, we can become witnesses to our faith. Let us walk in Jesus and be enlightened by this truth. The faith that we profess in the creed is given to us so that we may live the life of our Lord.
