Discipline generates saints
God knows all our needs, and if I want to channel everything into my will, I just mess up. If I open my hand to God, instead, of course, God will attend to my needs in His time and His way. People escape the hands of God because there is no interest in prayer. He is kind and compassionate to us and kindly waits for us. Now, He puts us in His school to learn to seek Him, because He is God, our God.
In this school, one must discipline oneself: discipline creates saints. For discipline to take place, there must be organization. We need to organize our lives in every way: to organize our life with God, our work life, our interior, our home. In short, it is necessary to begin with this resumption of organization, from the small to the great things that involve our life. In our life, nothing should be stuck. The review of life leads us to a greater intimacy with the Lord, calms our agitated interior, makes us realize the action of divine providence in our lives.
