Be Imitators of Christ

Beloved, do not imitate what is bad, but what is good. Whomever does the good is of God, whomever does the bad does not see God.” (3 John 11)

Escola_genovesa_-_Ceia_de_EmaúsWe are called to be imitators of Christ through our acts, we need to demonstrate the love that Jesus, first, demonstrated to us.

The Lord is alive and wants to live in us; therefore, we should allow the Holy Spirit to move our actions and thus, our actions to show Jesus in us.

Today, we may decide to have new attitudes, to do the good in all situations, announcing the Lord with joy, peace and love for all.

For, if you want true delights and to receive from me abundant consolation, despise all the mundane things and renounce all interior pleasures and for recompense you will have copious consolation.” (from the Portuguese version of the book Imitation of Christ by the monk Tomás à Kempis p.142)

Jesus, I trust in You!
