We Are Called to be Missionary Disciples

The Catechism of the Church teaches that each of the baptized, man or woman, is called to be a saint. The Christian vocation to holiness draws strength in the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, this as this impels us to the mission of being disciples of Christ, His evangelizers.

We are called to be mission disciples

It is this mission of evangelizing that Pope Francis in these latest times, has spoken to us. The desire of evangelizing is born from the personal encounter with the living person of Jesus Christ!

In respect to this, The Pope says to us: “All Christians, in whatever place and situation they find themselves, are invited to renew today itself their personal encounter with Jesus Christ or at least to make the desire to allow oneself to encounter Him, and to seek Him daily, without ceasing. There is no motive for someone to think that this invitation is not spoken in respect to him or her, for “the joy brought by the Lord excludes no one.”

Therefore, youth are called to holiness, Christ counts on you, it is with your voice, your hands, your feet and your prayer! We are all called to be missionary disciples! That his answer may be like that of Mary: “Here is the servant of the Lord, may it be done in me according to your word.” (cf Luke 1:38)

Finally, according to the more beautiful incentive of Our Pope: [Do not be afraid. . .  For I am with you to defend you, says the Lord.] God is with us! Do not be afraid when announcing Christ, He even is going in front of us and guiding us.”
