Be Wheat Not Tare

monsignor JonasWe are like wheat planted by the Lord, but we are surrounded by evil. For this reason, we only see the wheat near us and this gives us the impression that we are few in number and that evil is growing. But far from us there are  a lot of  plantations; we are not seeing them, but they are plentiful, although they are scattered.

Jesus tells us that we are the good seed and the bad seed  is those who belong to the evil. Unfortunately, people have given admittance to the devil; some of innocence; others to acquire wealth and riches.

Work with and for God, for He alone can transform the weeds into wheat. Maybe we weeds beside us, they are making others to sin. But although we do not see this, is the Lord who rules over all this “sea of mud”. He is victorious, but we need to fight, to do our part. The victory is certain, but we need to stand firm, and know that Christ is in our midst.
Your brother,
