We Entered the Time of Divine Mercy

[On Friday, December 5th, the fifitieth Anniversary of the Ordination of Monsignor Jonas Abib, founder of Canção Nova, the community will dedicate a huge Shrine of Divine Mercy called the Shrine to the Father of Mercies at the seat of the community in Cachoeira Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Business Manager and co-founder Eto describes approaching this moment. ed.The dedication will be available on Canção Nova TV which can be accessed at http://tv.cancaonova.com/tv-ao-vivo/]

Looking at the Shrine of the Father of Mercy, God always makes me remember a phrase: “Do not build anything, you have to start all over again.”

Today, I look back and see how many times the Lord pushed me to brave many paths in Canção Nova. I learned to be a tireless man who never stops dreaming, for man the boundary is, precisely, their dreams.

My brothers and sisters, we are at the gates of another achievement for this work of God, the Shrine of the Father of Mercies. Undoubtedly, this will be the summit of our Eucharistic territory. Evangelization will in this shrine. Masses will be many, continuous worship and vigils. God will inaugurate a new era in our community. We entered the mercy of time and hope to welcome thousands and thousands of pilgrims from Brazil and around the world. We are a Eucharistic territory of pilgrimages.

I thank you that made your donation and, in so many ways, contributed to erection of this shrine of God. We decided to hold the dedication although there are still some adjustments that need to be made, because in Canção Nova, we do not wait to be complete to make the evangelization happen. We are poor and we need to put everything we have for the good of the people. For this reason, we will finish the work while the Shrine is in use.

I want to commit to you, who contributed and will also contribute to an active schedule of the Father of Mercies Shrine in 2015, to deliver the Shrine ready for everyone to see where your contribution was put to good use.

Finish placing each of us in the arms of the Father of Mercy, where everyone is welcomed and no tears remain unanswered. Always pray the aspiration that our dear Monsignor Jonas was inspired, “Father of Mercy, God of all comfort, hear us.”

Your brother,
Eto
