Abortion Does Not Permit Us to Turn Back Time

Abortion leaves big holes in the heart of a woman

Good things happen only when we open our hearts and we allow for that change to occur. This will sometimes take to get in our heart; We pray, seek, but, at times, we allow laziness in saying: “Tomorrow I will do it! Tomorrow! “.

I’m a few years participating in this Union for life. The word that is in my heart, since yesterday, is “compassion”. The gratitude for God is very great, and every day, I thank you for conducting such grace in my life. When God wants us, he get us out of the mud!

I also have gratitude for Canção Nova, because when I entered the pro-life movement, I felt a little left out, there was nothing strong to take me to a broader awareness. Suddenly, in a visit to the Canção Nova, I met the Tiba and Dunga; did a PHN with them, which made me much better.

The happiness to see Canção Nova opening the doors so that people are aware life is wonderful! This increases in us the confidence that we are children of Mary in battle position.

I feel a sadness so great for those girls who are in favor of death going into the streets saying “I own my body!”.

What can we do for feminists?

Facing this situation, the only thing we can offer them is our prayer!

Recently, I saw an image that is surrounding the media. A dog found a baby that had been abandoned and carried him to the nearest hospital. Given this fact, we can realize that animals are teaching us something. Fills me with joy, because I have the awareness that God made me to save lives!

When you abort, there are two realities: the loss of the baby and the unconsciousness of the person who committed the Act. Abortion leaves big holes in a woman’s heart. Abortion does not allow us to travel back in time. It is as if Jesus said: “If you kill, go and repair your errors by saving lives!”.

Elba Ramalho seu testemunho de vida no Encontro Gente do Bem (Juntos pela vida), na Canção Nova.

I was born in a town called ‘Conceição do Piancó’’, in Paraíba, but decided to move to Rio de Janeiro to be the drummer in a rock band; and freedom enslaved me. I considered myself a feminist and had the same thought of the women who are pro-choice, that I  ‘owned my body ‘. I was, like in a  ballad, drinking, having sex, I got pregnant and I practiced abortion.

I felt so empty, I’ve always had a good heart, but was mistaken. I started to have an encounter with our Lady, I studied a little bit more about her, and that moved me so much. I came back to attend Church, confessed and my life was being guided by our Lady.

I made a trip to Medjugorie where I confessed for nearly two hours with a British priest. After the confession, I met with a Polish priest, who gave me a rosary and told me: “You will help in saving babies!”.

In returned to Brazil, I went through Rome, where a group from Brasília invited me to be part of the pro-life movement . . .

Believe that the heart of the Immaculate Conception is around to help us. The King on Earth is near to help us. He reigns in love, peace and compassion.
