Just that we submit to his mighty power to achieve his mercy
Jesus proclaims the Kingdom of God, healing the sick, working miracles, and defeating evil with authority to free and to save. His presence alone is enough so that his divine grace operates. Thus saith the word: ” And Jesus threatened him, saying: Speak no more, and go out of the man. And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying: What thing is this? what is this new doctrine? for with power he commandeth even the unclean spirits, and they obey him! “ (Mc 1, 25 and 27 D-R). Where God reigns, evil walks away and the good advances.

All activity of Jesus goes towards freeing us and ridding us of the evil one. It is enough for us to just be to him without offering resistance; acting with humility, willing to submit to his mighty power to achieve his mercy.
“Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you! “ (Tg 4.7)
The word of Christ raises us nd urges us to follow him as did the first disciples.
Lord Jesus, deliver us from evil so that we may be free to do good!
Lord, we’re Christians within your Church, but oppressed by chains of evil, come free us. Hear us!
For all our oppressed brothers in their physical, mental diseases. Hear us, o Lord!
Come, Lord Jesus!
