Hope is the fuel for perseverance
Today, my heart is filled with hope, because the word of God has this power to animate us, strengthen us. That’s what happened to me upon hearing this Gospel: “your sadness turns into joy” (John 16.20).
I want to share about this hope: that our life is not as we wish, still suffocating us with problems, we don’t have answers to a lot of things and, thus, the sadness take care of us, we must have hope, and this happens to me.
During my day, I’m surrounded by problems, but try to find answers; many times, I can’t and a sadness beats inside me, a sense of failure. However, I have submitted everything to the Lord God.That He may take my sorrows, and the experience that I have made is that God has transformed my pain into joy.
It is a joy that is born of hope that comes from our faith, to believe in what we don’t see, still I don’t see answers to many situations. But, by faith, I can believe that everything will be fine, the sadness will not stay within me and the joy of waiting for a better day will motivate me to continue.
Believe me, my brothers and sisters, God transforms our sadness into joy!
