Our houses need to be life sanctuaries. The presence of God needs to be constant in our homes in order that life may be fertile. When people visit your house, what do they say? And you, how do you feel in your own home? There are persons that feel anguish in their own home because there is no climate of peace, love and friendship.

Perhaps, today we need to retreat from our house many things that engender division and tension. We may fill our house with prayer because that is the only way we may live in happiness, love and unity.

The Lord, in his word, says to us, My House will be a house of prayer (Luke 19:46b)

May we make today of turning over the reins of our house to the hands of Jesus in order that he may put order in all that which is out of place. May we do this with confidence in the love the Lord has for each one in our family.
