Forgiveness is a gift from God to us.
In the face of miseries and weaknesses, as children of God, we must be merciful to all our brothers and sisters. As much as they have wronged us, we must be merciful and forgive, as the merciful God has forgiven us. Let us be contrary to what the world teaches us which is: not to forgive, but to be vigilant, selfish, self-reliant. Because of these false values, we live in total chaos.

The world, unfortunately, has become a stage of misfortune. God does not force us to forgive, but He gives us the grace to forgive. Forgiveness is a gift from God to us. It also opens the way to healing, because healing and forgiveness go together. When we open to forgiveness, we are restored by God and we acquire a new soul. Joy invades our heart, and all sorrow is exorcised from within.
