Being holy is a matter of transformation
The human heart is like a compass that always shows us that ‘good’ is good and ‘evil’ is evil. But, unfortunately, people are very lost. The bad ones remain bad, because the good ones are not better. And why aren’t the good ones better? Because they do not want to be saints. And the good ones are not better, because the best are not saints.
Holiness is not a complicated thing . It is to seek God. You have to seek holiness, but if you are satisfied with mediocrity, the current will be taking you down.
And therein lies the secret of holiness! To be holy is a matter of transformation, not a magic trick. Looking with human eyes at worship, seeing the person standing there, we can say that she is losing her life by throwing it away. But we are not throwing away our life! Because, because we are there, as much as we can, in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, just believing, the Lord is with us.
