Rise Up from Sadness

So it is that when we begin to follow Jesus, God enters in our life and in our house and sits at the table with us. In the same way so we abandon the table of injustice, of sin and the table of oppression-the medium which destroys others. The Lord sits at the table with us, with our family and with all those that we love. God enters our life.

First Matthew had to get up and leave injustice behind in order to afterwards follow Jesus. Then I invite you that you may do the same. Get up! Jesus is entering your life and He is knocking at the door of your house of your heart. Get up from bitterness, sadness and discouragement!

We want to be with an open heart to receive the surprises of God. Shall we make a surprise for the persons that are around us?

This week for us is a celebration of the victories of God. For this reason, we need to appropriate for ourselves this grace, but to do this, we need to get up because no one wins a fight lying down.

In this moment in which we believe in God, a transformation happens in us, in the moment that we say with faith, Jesus I believe in your living presence. In the exact moment the Holy Spirit enters in our heart and takes ownership of it from you. An extremely powerful force begins to govern your life.

The major manifestation of that which we believe is the change of our heart. Converting yourself is to have the courage to present to God the hidden and dark face of our life so that he can illuminate it and transform it. Being converted is to return your hidden face to the presence of Jesus Christ to that he may illuminate you.
