The Joy of Waiting

To wait for something is not always good. It causes in us the feelings of anxiety and expectation. How happy is the mother waiting nine months to see the fruit of her womb to be born. She suffers, but at the arrival of the child, joy takes over and the pains of birth no longer have any force.

The eyes of two parents shine upon seeing their children arrive from a trip, because they waited one, two, three years to see them.

We wait years to see a tree give fruit.

Wait, wait, wait.

Thus is our Christian life. It is not that all we want and desire happens in accordance with our will.

We have a just and faithful God who knows all things. We need to exercise the act of waiting, through the most simple and the most complicated situations of our life.

How have I waited for the promises of God?

Do I murmur?

My brother, My sister, “Wait on the the Lord and have courage.”

The word of God does not lie when it tells us: Happy those that wait upon the Lord.”

Do not give up, wait with patience. Believe that you will see the glory of God in your life. We are together.

God bless you.
