Many times you will have asked: “What did I do to merit this blessing, Lord?” This question I make to myself 1000 times each time God’s providence happens. Here St. Paul responds to me with an unbeatable firmness: I did absolutely nothing; it was God who did this through His will.

Always when they say to me that the love of God is a profound mystery, I return to all the things that He did for me and that surround me to say Only the Lord is good, nothing more.

I invite you to give thanks and praise to God because He does not look at your actions to give you something good. It is enough to just trust, to know, to hope and the will of God will work in your lives.
