The Pope supports American ideals of strength and committment and the self-evident truth, that all men are created equal. Freedom is eery new and a challenge to each generation. In a world without truth, freedom loses its foundation.

He adds that Church for her part wishes to contribute to building a world ever more worthy of the human person, created in the image and likeness of God.
