ChildrensofFatima (croped)

That, like San Francisco and Santa Jacinta Marto, we may reach the holiness in our life one day

Friends in heaven are important because they are the remedy to healing in this lifetime that, sometimes, is demanding and so hard.

Thanks to God, the Church grants us a lot of Saints, of which we can say: “are our friends from Heave”. This past week, Heaven won two more little ones, but large in Holiness, friends of heaven!

That, following the example of this brother and sister, Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto, to whom our Lady of Fatima appeared, we can ask her intercession, so that, with them we may achieve Holiness in our lives one day.

Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto, pray for us!

A Hug from your brother,
Shahir Rahemane

In the Apparitions of Fatima preceding the Apparitions of Our Lady the Angel of Portugal to the three shepherd children: Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta. The Apparitions of Fatima are marked with sacrifice, penitence and pray of reparation to the hearts of Jesus and of Mary. We are going to learn now the prayers presented by the Angelo and Our Lady in Fatima.

First Apparition of the Angel-Spring 1916-area of Cabeço.

I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me. And kneeling on the Earth, bow to the ground. Carried by a supernatural movement, imitating it and repeating the words that that we hear pronouncing:

“My God! I believe, I adore, I hope and love You.

I ask you pardon for those that do not beleive, nor adore, nor hope nor love You.”

Third Apparition of the Angel-Area of Cabeço 1916

He appeared to us for the third time, bringing in his hand a chalice and over it a Host, from which was falling, into the chalice, some drops of blood. Leave the chalice and the Host suspended  in the air, he prostrated himself on the Earth and repeated three times this prayer:

“Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly and I offer You the precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the Earth, in reparation of the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences with which He is offended and for the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I ask You the conversion of the poor sinners.”

Third Apparition of Our Lady-13 July 1917-Iria Cave

Sacrifice yourself for the sinners and say many times, especially always that you may make some sacrifice:

O my Jesus, it is through Your love for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for sinners committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”When you pray the rosary, say, after each mystery”

“O my Jesus, pardon us, free us from the fires of Hell, bring all souls to Heaven, principally those that are most in need.”

In the Apparition on the 13th of July Our Lady in Fatima announced: In order to prevent the war, I will ask the consecration of Russia at my Immaculate Heart and the Communion of reparation on the First Saturdays.

This devotion She came to ask, appearing to Sister Lucy December 10, 1925, in Pontevedra, Spain. She said then, “See, my daughter, my heart enclosed from the thorns that the ungrateful men pierce me with blasphemy and ingratitude. You, at least, come to console me and say that I promise to assist in the hour of death, with all the graces necessary for salvation, to all those in the First Saturday of five months continous, if they go to confession, receive Holy Communion, praying the rosary and remaining my companion for fifteen minutes, meditating on the 15 mysteries of the Rosary with the goal of reparation to me.” Our Lady showed heart surrounded with thorns that represented out sins. She asked that we may do acts of reparation to remove them, with the reparative devotion of the five First Saturdays. En Recompense, she promises us “All the graces necessary for salvation.” Jesus in the following two years 15 February 1926 and 17 December 1927, insisted in the propagation of this devotion. Lucia wrote: “Of the practice of the devotion of the First Saturdays, in union to the consecration to the Heart of Mary, depends war or peace of the world”.

There are five first Saturdays because, according to what Jesus revealed
1. – The blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception;

2. – Against her Virginity;

3. – Against the Divine Maternity, refusing at the same time to receive her as Mother of men;

4. –Those that infuse in the heart of children the indifference, contempt and even hatred against the Immaculate Mother;

5. – Those that make direct outrage against sacred images”.

The conditions to gain the privelidge of the five Saturdays are four:

1.Confession: For each First Saturday it is necessary to make a confession with the reparative intention. I can be done whatever daybefore or after the First Saturday, on the condition that one received Communion in the state of grace.

A visionary asked: – “My Jesus, what about people that forget to form this intention ? Jesus responded-They can form it in the next confession, taking the first opportunity they have to confess.”
The other three conditions should be completed on that respective First Saturday, if there is not a priest, for just motives, one can do it on the next Sunday

2. Reparative Communion

3. The Rosary.

4. The meditation for 15 minutes of one mystery, of various or of them all. It is also worth a meditation or explanation of 3 minutes of each one of the five mysteries of the rosary that one is praying
In all these four practices one should have the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The devotion of the First Five Saturdays was approved by the Bishop of Leiria September 13, 1939, in Fatima.

The Message of Fatima is Urgent.

The 14th of May, in a message published on the official page of the Archdiocese of San Sebastian of Rio de Janeiro ( His Excellency Orani João Tempesta remembered the apparitions of Our Lady in the Cova de Iria, in Portugal, and stressed the reality of the Message of Fatima.

“In this historic moment in which we find that the intolerance against Christians happens through the world outside and at the same time in the change of age, when decisions that should be debated by the National Congress (Brazil) are imposed on the people with even healthy discussion, in a time in which so so many men and woman throw themselves against persons of faith as if they were second class citizens, without some rights that normally are conceded to others it will be very important that we revisit the message of Fatima,” he wrote.

After a brief description of the apparitions in 1917, The Metropolitan Archbishop of Rio de Janeiro remembered the Message of Fatima.

“Fatima is a visit by Mary, our Mother, in our time and for our time. It is a message of affect, in practical terms for the peace in the world, a promise of Heaven. There are signs that stress aspects of the Christian Revelation called calling persons to conversion to save us from persecutions, wars, slavery or anihilation. It is over all a manner of salvation of our souls from Hell. The message of Fatima is for all in all ages!” He emphasized.

“The Message of Fatima is pertinent and urgent, so in that time as today: it is an anguished supplication for [Mary] sees a great danger and comes to offer Her help and to give Her counsel. Therefore, we are invitedto revisit the message of Fatima in these new and difficult times!” concluded Archbishop Orani Tempesta, in the message he titled “Mary in Fatima and Aparecida” and which was written in the Brazilian Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecia, where he participated in the 49th General Assembly of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil.

At the end, He called for the inviation to participation in the inauguration of the Little Chapel of Fatima in Rio de Janeiro that he said: “Will be a sign planted in our country to remind us of the necessity of conversion and continued prayer.”

On Wednesday Morning, October 15th, in Rome, during the general audience, Pope Benedict XVI remembered the apparitions of Our Lady in Fatima.

The Pope dedicated his catechesis to the Italian mystic Angela de Foligno and alerted to the danger of living as if God does not exist. He remembered Fatima at the end of the audience in St. Peter’s Square.

My thoughts are going to Our Lady of Fatima whom today we remember in her last apparition. Trust the Celestial Mother of God , dear youth, in order to be able to generously respond to the call of the Lord. That Mary may be for you, care for ills, comfort in our pains, who accompanies you, care of fiancés in your as you begin the of the family”, said the Pope.
