Without Trials We Become Weak

Canção Nova (New Song) Family in Paraguay

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me. Therefore, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Cor 12,9-10)

While I was doing my bible study last night, I read these verses and I was fascinated; I wrote a phrase entitled: “A missionary without trials is a weak missionary”. In these moments I remembered how many were the great tribulations and the spiritual drought that I had during the year, and later (looking at myself in the mirror) I saw a person more alive, strong and happy than before; I looked back and smiled after having endured so much, and I reaffirmed what Paul says: “for when I am weak, then I am strong.

If you still are passing through many tests that appear will never end, assume this word with much confidence. The problems that you are experiencing already have an ending date and hour; have no doubt about this. That which you should understand is that there is no other way through which one can have strength, and it is for this that God permits that which happens to you that you may be strong. This is not a hobby or some game that which is happening to you; it is a grace that is reaffirming you to be a “child of God” in all aspects: spiritual, physical, emotional. When in the future other tribulations may appear, the result of that which happens will be the arm with which you will be able to overcome problems: Believe it!

I invite you that you repeat with me this prayer and assume the forces that God is giving to you.

Lord, I know that your grace is enough and that in my weakness is your strength that works, but today I need to say to you that I desire intensely to receive this strength that come from You; I desire this force for assuming that my problems already have an ending, and so guaranteeing strongly until the day that my eyes may see your promise happen. You are the Lord of my life! I love you, Jesus!

Be encouraged, brother/ Jesus has already won and is close to us.
