Lord God who saves

The world is rampant, nothing holds it, and it is no use having illusions that some government, party or ideology could solve the situation. What happened to the Communist, Marxist ideology? What happened to the Berlin Wall? Salvation comes from the Lord: the “God who saves” is Jesus.

The expected Messiah, the anointed Christ is Jesus! He is the Lord, He is Kyrios, He is the solution! You may wonder, “Why has not He come yet?” Jesus has not yet come, because rather, it is necessary to cleanse the face of the Earth, to take the children of God from the dirt, from the garbage in which they are.

But if the children of God insist: “We want to be in the trash! We want to stay in the dirt! Leave us here! “, Jesus is obliged, by mercy, to delay His coming. Because He does not want to lose anyone, He delays His coming, giving more chance and more time for all “prodigal sons” to return to the Father’s house.

We are now in the “time of mercy,” and the Lord is increasingly manifesting His immense mercy.

God loves you, so much, He sent His Son Jesus to the earth to show you that it is possible to love

Padre Márcio José celebra Missa Solene da Festa da Exaltação da Santa Cruz“Then open yourself totally, there is the statement, God loves you surely, and Jesus is your brother!” (Excerpt from the book ”Refletindo em Deus”).

What a beautiful joy to be part of the divine family of Christ! If we all understood the meaning of the true word “family,” then we would never cease to love our neighbor, for within us we would have a ceaseless love for all.

If that still does not happen, do not give up, because God loves you and sent His Son Jesus to Earth to show you that it is possible to love independent of anything.

May this day renew your call to be the child of God, who is Love, and thus lead you to make a demonstration of love for those around you.

God bless you!

Embrace from your brother,
Shahir Rahemane

Pregação com Pe.Márcio José - Festa do Pai das Misericórdias

God be glorified in sickness

“Lord, the one you love is sick.”

That’s what they told Jesus when they told him that his friend Lazarus was sick. It is a word of great consolation, told to someone who is truly loved. For this message, Jesus has an answer:

“This sickness does not lead to death, but it is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by him” (Jn 11,4). God, by loving us, calls us to believe in this great truth.

Jesus expresses the will of God. Whatever disease or situation we present to the Lord will serve His glory, because in this way the Son of God will be glorified. I have seen how the Lord has healed people who are deceived by doctors because of serious illnesses.

By entrusting and crying out to the Lord, people in the terminal phase, in extreme situations and affected by incurable diseases were healed; True miracles have happened. What will guarantee us faith in the word is constant and persistent prayer. We can exercise acts of faith in prayer:

“This disease will not end with death, it will serve the glory of God: it is through it that the Son of God is to be glorified! I believe, Lord, but increase my faith; Strengthen my faith. This disease will not end with death, it will serve the glory of God: it is through it that the Son of God is to be glorified. I believe in this truth, Lord.   I will always repeat it, for the righteous will live by faith; The children of God will live by faith. By faith I will live your miracles. Amen!

This is how we will partake of the greatness of God as our ancestors: because they believed, they sang the praises of God.

The love of God is shed deep into our hearts, and each one of us can plunge into the His peace.

I leave you peace, my peace I give unto you; but not as the world. Don’t let your heart be  bothered or intimidated”(John 14, 27).

The gift of peace is divine and Heavenly, it is a gift from the heart of God. The peace that God gives us is the peace that comes from him; the peace that is pure and is its essence.

Jesus is giving us his peace and not the peace that the world gives us, because world peace may simply be absence of conflicts, wars or something along those lines. Peace is something much deeper, it goes in the intimate part of our soul and our heart, puts us in communion with God and with each other. Peace is the fruit of love, which generates peace in our hearts.

The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, and each one of us can plunge into the peace of God. We have conflicts? Yes! Don’t we look at the difficulties, problems and situations, but we have a different way of fighting, we are fitted with the gift of peace. We’re not immune to war, we go to war and fight against the enemies of the soul and the heart.

Our medicine, our gun, above all, is the peace that comes from the heart of God, the peace that God gives us and that, above all, does not let our heart be disturb with difficulties, with tribulations and with all the difficult situations that we face in this life. We need to let our hearts find peace in God, curing our afflictions, which contain our troubles, and gives us peace and tranquility for living, evangelizing and love.

We don’t understand tranquility as we didn’t have difficulties, is not contrary to another. Rather, difficulties are being overcome in that peace that comes from the heart of God. I’m not lost in a fog or now do I bow in front of the afflictions and tribulations I face in my life, I bow before the peace of God, before the spirit of God which is given.

It is interesting in acts of the Apostles: we hear of “beig spent by many tribulations to enter the Kingdom of God”. The tribulations we’ve been through in our lifes do not to take our peace; rather, there is much evidence that we learn to live the peace of God even when we are covered in a whirlwind of trouble and tricky situations.

May the peace of God to invade our hearts!

God bless you!

The meditated Word today is in St. Matthew 6:33-34.

“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be given by extension. So, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have its own concern. Every day is enough for their evil. “

Marcio Mendes_Sorrindo pra Vida

The today’s scriptural passage shows us that God knows all our needs, so we must seek first the Kingdom of God and all will be given.

It is necessary to get the righteousness of God, not the Justice of this world and of men. So don’t worry about tomorrow, because each day has its concern. The great prevention that we must do in our life is to take care of today so that tomorrow is quiet. When you do what is necessary today, tomorrow will be even better.

There’s no point in wanting to advance certain times, it’s normal to want to rush situations, like a fight, a problem, a difficulty, but it is necessary to live and persevere in time.

We create dependence on people, situations that lead us to believe that if we miss something or someone our life ends. However, it is not so. We have a God who is making all the arrangements, and maybe this is your big chance to experience something new, get new opportunities.

When we see ourselves in a situation where we don’t know how to move on, it’s time to put ourselves in the right direction. If you don’t know what the right direction is for your life, hold the hand of God, take care of today and the rest He will provide. The next step is all you need there is a wisdom in simply take the first step. This step will not solve everything, but it will be a start, regardless of whether it is big or small.

If you don’t have anything to do, rest, rest in the arms of Jesus and then you will have the strength to get up and move on. Resume, although slowly, and God will help you.

Cast your care upon the LORD, who will give you support. He will never allow the righteous to stumble. (Ps 55, 23 NABRE).

luziaIt is necessary to give to the Lord all  your intentions that you carry in your heart and to trust that He cares and realizes in certain time, the best for  His children.

Which situations do you, today, need to give to the Lord? A sickness of someone dear to you? A business that in sometime you are starting? A child on drugs or that lacks understanding in the family? There are so many situations! But in all these it is necessary to have a certainty in which God hears your prayers.

In God, is your hope, therefore, do not give up praying and trusting in Him, that love never stops in you.

Pray throughout the day: “I trust in Your power, in Your kindness, in You I trust with as a child. I trust in You, blindly, in all situations.”

Jesus, I trust in you!
