Spiritual memory is what results from the presence of God in us through its action, Word, inspiration and sacraments

plate ricardo saOnly the one who spends time with the Lord receives it! Keep the soul what God does in us is to keep the fuel that allows us to follow the more difficult path. I suggest that you spend time writing a little of your history with God; the things he did and said, you are a living every day.

Learn how to cultivate your spiritual memory. We’ve been forgotten too much and that has been a point of discouragement and temptations. Take care of yourself, please!

Be careful about the things you have left to do for later, they can indicate key aspects of your personality and ways that need to be reviewed.

ricardosacnHow about making a list of things you could and should have done and not done? Why are they not the done? Sincerely, you will find that, behind leaving something for laterr, there are fears that need to be healed, talents that are not used, victories that were not taken and frustrations that are being charged for you. Sometimes it is that simple phone call that you always leave for later.

It’s simple, but it is worth noting!

It seems to me that very easily, we drift away from ricardo sathe experience of Jesus and His way up to Jerusalem to be crucified.

We forget that we follow Jesus, with Him, we take up our cross and die on it for our resurrection.

The way of the Cross, especially for us Christians, is a path of service to whom is in need, from a smile, offering our presence, to fully commiting our lives to those who have the most diverse needs.

Therefore, the authenticity of our Christian life is directly linked to how we relate to the cross.

ricardo saGood will, wanting to be nice and liked are important, but not so essential! And that’s what we try, right? The essence!

When it comes to the happiness of those around us, do not be afraid to dive into the adventure of learning to love. The great thing is to seek to understand what the  others has as the language of love. This means what is important is that the person is being loved.

Patience, observation, love exercises in words, attitudes, gestures and decisions will always show us the right way to love whom we love!

You get the idea?

ricardo saI have learned that all Christian and spiritual growth needs to be understood as a way that we encounter daily and on which we take concrete steps. Therefore, you must have a compass that inspires the journey and at the same time, shows the way we live.

Thus, to grow in faith, try following some steps: ask in faith, feed it through a life consistent with what is being asked, live it at times when it believing is most important, be led by faith and realize the times when it indicates action.

It is a road of consistent decisions!

The liturgy of these days helps us to focus on love

ricardo saYou can not talk about holiness without talking about the way we live in relation to whomever is hungry, you can bring them something to eat, whoever are in prison, we can visit him, thirsty we can give him to drink.

It is a good thing, because we can think of holiness in this way as indeed it is! It is doable, right here on our side, in our home, where we work, in the hospital of our city, the neighbor who is ill, on those who need our presence and support.

We need not go far to find someone who needs our help! Have you noticed?

With prayers,
Ricardo Sá
