One who is a child of God knows you can’t sell oneself for any price

Dirty money is rotten, and when it falls into our hands or in our pocket, it rots the heart. How can we then get in front of God? Or kneel before the Blessed Sacrament to adore him and ask him for the graces we need? Jesus asks us a disturbing question: “what’s the point for one to gain the whole world just to lose his or her soul?”. Every one has a price.

Each is sold by the value of his dignity. As a child of God you know you can’t sell yourself, because your value as a “child of God” is priceless. On the contrary, one who sells him or herself or is corrupted, loses  infinite dignity. In our ambition, do not measure how to win. That opens us up to  theft, corruption, quarrel, and we don’t know how to manage it.

We live in fear of the scandals and we don’t have peace, because our conscience weighs on us. You can cheat and steal from everyone, but we can’t shut the soft voice of conscience, which is the voice of God. And if we silence that voice, we become a wild beast, destructor.

Brooklyn Museum - The Pharisees and the Saduccees Come to Tempt Jesus (Les pharisiens et les saducéens viennent pour tenter Jésus) - James Tissot - overallThe heart full of evil is far from God! If we want to be less Pharisees in life, we need to approach God and stop being gossips!

“These people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me” (Mark 7: 6).

Dear brothers and sisters, the Pharisees are upset because Jesus and His disciples eat and drink without washing hands. We know that by an oral tradition that we receive from others, which passed from person to person, the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands without washing cups, pots, copper pots and all the utensils for power; and that there is an excess of rigor to wash their hands and so on.

It exists today in our midst, many people who have an excess of careful cleaning. We all need to be clean, hygienic, but be careful because the excesses seem an obsession! And the obsession with cleanliness is something very terrible because one sees dirt everywhere; for all the places that she looks, it seems there is dirt. And it will create within itself prejudices and misconceptions, she distrusts the cleaning of any glass in any dish.

The Pharisees, described in today’s Gospel, do it with a certain amount of evil. You know those people who do not speak, but think [something against someone]? You know those people who sometimes greet you and always look suspicious, wanting to tell you this or that? Judging you, interpreting according to their concepts and prejudices.

We often do it too! And that risk and danger of being rejected by God, because we honor Him with our lips, praise Him, glorify Him, and bless, then stretch our hands and our tongues to receive the Eucharist, but often our hearts is far from him!

We can not deny it, but even among us, Jesus’ followers, how many times do we let evil grow within us! Evil against others, against situations; we can only look at things from the perspective of evil. So we know that slander is born, accusations, but above all gossip.

Gossip is something for people who have questionable character. It is for those who have no courage or willingness to say what needs to be spoken or are silent when it is necessary. This person is lives creating situations to talk about this or that. Of gossip is born the greatest evils is born misinterpretations, born the labels we play with and create on people. It is no distant comparison, but is very close for helping us to understand that self-righteousnessness leads to gossip. Are the Pharisees who think Jesus. The gossips today think Jesus in another way: they do through their children, siblings, followers and disciples of Him.

So if we want to be less the Pharisees in life, we must not give in to gossips: we need to stop being gossips! And we can not allow this evil, which is called “gossip” or “slander”, a part of our life.

Jesus loved and welcomed everyone, the worst sinners, according to our concepts, but had no way to host the Pharisee who was full of malice or who was gossiping maliciously.

May God purify our hearts! Do not just honor Him with your lips, because our heart is full of evil. This purification is from the Lord.

God bless you!

Nobody is born bad

O cristao ama seus inimigos

“In this way, are we such a cloud of witnesses, let us cast off  from us the chains of sin” (Hb 12, 1a). The word of God is showing us that sin is not just an act, because if repeated, it envelopes us and ties us up in chains. “

“Run with perseverance to the proposed combat , keeping eyes focused on the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus”(Hb 12, 1b). However, we’re forgetting this entirely.

For many, there no longer exists the struggle against sin, there is an inclination to it, and there are many opportunities to commit it. Often, when there is a friend that leads us to do what is wrong, we, without striving, entered into sin: Let’s go “drinking” it, in tying it to the senses, feelings and we end up trapped by it [sin], because it is much more than a disease.

Sin wants us to lead many to enter the drug addictions, alcoholism, of lies, corruption, hypocrisy, arrogance, evil and we can’t get out.

We were raised in the right and the good, people are born good, but lean to small sins, then the most serious, finally becoming bad, evil. People become bad, because being tied to sin, are taken in  evil and are unable to extricate themselves.

Leave sin, having the grace of conversion is a God thing. Only He can convert us.Conversion is changing direction, is to “turn around” and live the opposite way. If you have not yet had the grace of conversion, by Jesus, the Savior, is the blood and the cross from him; we’re all ripped out of this situation of sin.

The initial conversion is only by God, by the intervention of Jesus. You need to ask for it, take it and accept it.

And even after the grace of conversion, because of original sin and the weight that it will bring in our lives, we need to continue the fight. Fight with perseverance in fighting before us with our eyes fixed on Jesus, in us, who starts and completes the work of faith. I know you want that for your life.

I don’t know what kind of sin you are entangled in, but today is the day to put it on the altar, the sacrifice of Jesus. Even if you’re struggling, but still fail to bounce back from your sin, do as Jesus told Jairo: “be not afraid, only believe”. The Lord is on your side, He did not abandon you and he tells you. “Fear not, believe only because I’m by your side. Put your eyes fixed on me and walk. I want to give you a complete conversion “.

Is there communication between the demons?

Como os demonios se comunicam entre siHave you ever wondered how the Devils communicate with each other? Do you believe that demons are even able  to dialogue between themselves?

Father Jose Fortea, is one of the most recognized Exorcists of Spain will help us understand a little more about this question .

Let’s see his reply:

“The language of Demons is exactly the same as that of the angels. The angels need no tongue, or language to communicate with each other, as they use an intelligible species. The intelligible species are the thoughts that transmit between them. We communicate through words; they communicate directly by pure thought, without need for sensitive mediations or signs. The intelligible species
can have communication of thoughts, images, feelings, etc.

The transmission of these intelligible species is telepathic, produced at will and can give rise to dialogues like the ones we have. Human intelligences communicate our thoughts through words, that are signs, while the spirits can pass on to each other the pure thought. “ ( Father Jose Antonio Fortea)

I hope answers your question.

God bless you!

I am more than my SIN …

“This people honors me with their lips only; their heart, however, is far from me. “(Mt 15.8)

12947807164_08849c1d4aLong ago God has been talking to my heart about Judas Iscariot. Because it is difficult to understand what really happened to him, it’s hard to understand what was the moment he decided to no longer follow Jesus.

You know, what I have learned in this time is:

It was not exactly the sin of Judas which led him to commit suicide, and it wasn’t even the sin of him that made the consequences of this error to be irreparable. I have in my heart, that even though Judas delivered Jesus, but had he really repented and turned back, Jesus would have forgiven Him, even though Jesus was crucified. But the problem was that the heart of Judas, over time, moved away from the heart of Jesus. Jesus the more he talked and walked toward the Judas, Judas’s heart was closed to the words of Jesus. And really that’s what impresses me most!

Judas walked with Jesus, side by side. Listened to Jesus every day, lived with Jesus, played music with Jesus, saw the miracles of Jesus. But still his heart was moving more and more away.Even if Judas had committed suicide, although the Word shows us a certain regret having betrayed Jesus, I can’t believe that Judas didn’t love Jesus! Judas loved Jesus. The fact that he despaired when he had the understanding of the mistake, it is a sign that he loved Jesus. But Judas let despair take care his heart, and didn’t believe that God’s mercy could overcome such treason.

Judas didn’t kill himself for lack of love, Judas killed himself because of the desperation of the error that was made.

With that I learned that it’s not only our sin that takes us away from Jesus, but it is the attitude of not having our heart “connected” to the heart of Jesus. For the more “ugly” are our sins; It is our desire to be of God and to return to Him that will determine the course of our life! It’s one thing to sin, it’s another thing to not want to more follow in the footsteps of Jesus ….

My SIN does not say who I am! But it’s my heart that determines who I really am, because only God is able to see our heart as it is!

Let us learn from this that Jesus forgives us, and always forgives us. But most have this consciousness, it is important not to forget that our hearts can step away from the heart of Jesus, and this removal danger we kill God’s life in us! If you take your SIN, your consciousness of its error, but also the consciousness that you belong to God, then you won’t  be afraid; to go back to God … Don’t be afraid to ask for forgiveness and start all over again! Don’t despair, ever! Don’t let your heart be invaded by anguish and fear.

God waits for me and you, with the desire of our heart to start all over again!!! Courage … You can start over again.

God bless you!

Everything that God created was very good and there was no evil

To understand this question, first of all, you need to understand what’s wrong. “God is inaccessible to evil” (Tg 1.13). Therefore, evil is not a side of God, it is not another god or another divine strength, because the Lord has revealed himself as the only God to Israel in numerous situations. So, what would evil be? In fact, being bad is not a being, a thing or force, but a lack of good, just as the darkness is the absence of light. [So, evil only exists where God is not, as in one rejecting God and chooses not to be where he is. ]

O mundo poderia existir sem o mal - 1600x1200

The world was created good by God. It is remarkable and wonderful that the creation account in Genesis 1.1 -31, the end of the creation of each thing is said: “and God saw that it was good”.After all, in verse 31, the biblical author says: “God saw all he had done was very good”.Therefore, everything that God has created is “very good” and there was no harm in anything.

How evil entered the world?

The third chapter of the book of Genesis tells how evil entered the world. In a figurative language, we see the image of the snake that tempted Eve and, through her, Adam. The meaning of this text is that the man, who by then was living in intimacy and harmony with God, rebelled against him, seduced by a deceiver. Without God, man and the world are subject to moral harm (lack of purpose that the man should live, especially happiness and love) and physical  harm as well. (lack of something in the material plane as hunger and pain).

Who is being the attacker? A god of evil? Numerous biblical texts refer to fallen angels, that is, beings created by God which are pure spirit, which should serve God, but “radical and irrevocably rejected the God and his Kingdom” (CIC 392). Some texts of the Old Testament are interpreted by the Christian tradition as an account of the Chief fallen angel, Satan, who turns against God (cf. Is 14.13 -14; EZ 28.17). Especially Ap 12.7 -10 talking about the battle of the Dragon and his angels against Michael and his angels. The Dragon and the angels become temptors, or better still are those beings who are not gods, but identified as evil, try to get the man to choose evil. So, in this way, the evil comes into existence just like that by rejecting “God, who is love” (1 Jn 4.8).

The world could exist without evil

It is clear, then, that the world not only could exist without evil, as it already existed without evil. What’s more, the world will return to exist without evil: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth was gone, and the sea is now no more. And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying: Behold the tabernacle of God with men, and he will dwell with them. And they shall be his people; and God himself with them shall be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away. And he that sat on the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are most faithful and true. And he said to me: It is done. I am Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end. To him that thirsts, I will give of the fountain of the water of life, freely. He that shall overcome shall possess these things, and I will be his God; and he shall be my son. Apocalypse 21.1-7).
